Craig Landis
Craig has experience with Major League baseball that spans a lifetime. His father, Jim, played 11 years in the Majors; he was an All Star and a five time Gold Glove winner as a centerfielder with the Chicago White Sox. In high school Craig starred in two sports; he was an All American quarterback, and was selected in the 1st round (10th overall pick) in the 1977 MLB Amateur Draft. He has a first hand understanding of the decisions a player faces early in his professional career. Craig played six years in the minors with the San Francisco Giants and Atlanta Braves organizations. After his professional baseball career ended, Craig attended Stanford University on a full football scholarship. Upon completing his undergraduate work, he served as an investment banker on Wall Street for two years. Building upon this valuable experience, Craig then went through the M.B.A. program at Stanford. His degrees from Stanford include B.A., M.A. (Developmental Economics), and M.B.A.
Craig began working with industry powerhouse Reich, Katz & Landis in 1992. After 13 highly successful years, he left in 2005 to fulfill a lifelong dream of starting his own firm, Landis, Seal & Ware Baseball. Over the last 21 years Craig has established a reputation as one of the top agents in the industry. During his career he has directly worked with over 30 first and second round picks. Most importantly, Craig prides himself on maintaining close personal relationships with each of his clients and their families.
Greg Maroni
Greg played college baseball while earning his B.A. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Sports Management, at Concordia University in Irvine. During this time, he was invited to the Sigma Beta Delta National Business Honors Society. He finished his M.B.A. from the University of the Pacific Eberhart School of Business in 2005, and earned his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 2006. During graduate school Greg studied International Law under U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy in Salzburg, Austria. He then worked for two summers at a major baseball agency in Beverly Hills. Greg co-founded CSM in January 2007, after earning three degrees by age 26. He became a certified MLBPA Player Agent in July 2007.
Quinn Gregory
Quinn brings a wealth of experience to CSM/LBG as a former professional player, scout, and coach. He played on two teams that were ranked #1 in the nation; Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA, and Sacramento State University where he earned his B.A. degree in Communications in 1989. Quinn went to Spring Training with the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs, and then played on the Reno Silver–Sox of the Advanced Class A California League. He finished his professional career in the Italian Professional Baseball League and has been coaching and scouting since 1993. His personal first hand knowledge of the professional player experience both on and off the field facilitates the development of our clients throughout their careers.
Trevor Rose
Trevor is a California licensed attorney that graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2011. He also graduated with High Honors from UC Berkeley in 2007 with degrees in both Spanish and Music. While completing his Spanish studies at Cal, Trevor spent a full year living and studying abroad at the University of Barcelona in Spain. Aside from his stellar legal background, which includes time as the General Counsel of the North American Baseball League, Trevor, who is 100 percent fluent in Spanish, serves as an essential point of contact with all of CSM's Spanish-speaking clients. And most importantly, Trevor brings to CSM a tireless work ethic and always makes his relationships with CSM his number one priority.
Augustine Aguilar
Augustine Aguilar joined California Sports Management in 2011 as the Social Media Director (SMD). Augustine is a skilled social media strategist with extensive campaign and management experience across a diverse set of industries. Augustine develops and manages social media campaigns individually suited to the unique qualities and goals of each client. Through his work, Augustine cultivates each client's "brand," resulting in the maximization of the client's worth and growth of his fan base. In addition to managing the CSM and LBG client social media accounts, Augustine manages the social media accounts of Tennis Legend Andre Agassi, Olympic Gold Medalist & World Champion Decathlete Dan O'Brien, the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education, the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy and BILT by Agassi & Reyes a fitness machine company molded after the custom machines Andre and his trainer Gil Reyes built and honed over two decades. Augustine received his BA in Creative Writing and Marketing from the University of Arizona in 2005.
